Mission
New Industry Dance brings Modern Dance to South Bend through public performances, movement research, and open community classes. We believe movement is a means to examine ourselves, each other, and the culture around us. Through embodiment practices, we bring intention and personal experience to the forefront of work that is socially aware and emotionally captivating.

Vision
New Industry Dance facilitates a safe space for all movers to engage in introspection, discovery, and personal expression. We value artistic collaboration, community engagement, and the development of thoughtful and complex work originating from awareness, embodiment, and emotional receptivity. By collaborating with multiple voices in our community, we create work born of diverse perspectives that aims to think, question, and experience rather than tell, answer, and consume.
